Meet the People

Clients are taken to an authentic rural village approximately 20km from Victoria Falls town where they are given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. The tour enables the client to see rural life first hand; visiting rural homes, watching their fields being tended and possibly getting the chance to help in some of the day-to-day chores.

Tour of the Falls and Craft Village

This tour is done in conjunction with the Tour of the Falls, after which they are taken to the Traditional Craft Village. Here they are shown replica homes of the various tribes throughout Zimbabwe & Southern Africa. They will learn about the history of how each tribe began and how they have evolved. There are local people in the village performing traditional skills such as carving, basket weaving and even cooking. Clients are also given the opportunity to shop in the adjoining curio market and shops for souvenirs and gifts.

Tour of Falls - Zimbabwe

This tour is conducted in the morning and afternoon. En route, clients may be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where they may stop and take photos. Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls. Raincoats are provided when needed.

Horseriding

Horseback Safari

Rides are conducted along the Zambezi River, in the National Park and surrounding game areas. Throughout these areas there is a wide distribution of birds and wildlife. As clients explore this area they will be able not only to see game but also learn from their guide about the wide variety of flora, fauna, history and ecology of the area.
At the beginning of the ride clients are given instructions on how to handle the horses, and the ride is conducted according to their ability and inclination, with the pace at the discretion of the guide. A licensed guide and a tracker accompany all rides.
Refreshments

Tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits are served in the stable gardens as clients watch the spray of the Falls.

Cordials and snacks or biscuits are served under the shady teak trees afterwards. Snacks may include olives, nuts, and cheese biscuits. .

Victoria Falls and Zambezi rafting

Arguably the wildest white water in the world, rafting on the Zambezi River is an adrenaline rush not to be missed.

Departs daily for Full or Half Day trips. The rapids on the Zambezi River are officially defined as “Grade 5” by the British Canoe Union (Grade 6 being commercially un-runnable). Clients should be reasonably fit for this activity, as there is a fairly steep walk into & out of the Batoka Gorge as well as the white water rafting activity itself. Tea, coffee & biscuits are served in the morning at check-in, after which clients are taken to the Gorge for their safety briefing before the days’ activity commences. Depending on the activity booked, a light lunch is either served in the gorge between rapids (Full Day), or at the top of the gorge (Half Day). Clients booked for a Full Day will continue on rafting in the afternoon and can expect to be returned to their hotels at 15:00hrs (high water) and 17:00hrs (low water). Due to the nature of this activity, clients should be warned to leave their valuables & personal effects safely locked up at their hotel.

Microlight flight at Victoria Falls

These flights depart throughout the day, however clients are taken to the airport where they will board fixed wing planes to experience magnificent views of the Victoria Falls. The 25min Flight of Angels includes a flight over the Falls whilst the 45min Safari flight also includes a flight over the Chamabonda Game Park before returning to the airport. Please remember that the transfer to/from the airport for these fixed wing flights takes approximately 25mins each way.

Botswana and Zimbabwe

Chobe Day Trip - Botswana ex Zimbabwe

This tour departs daily to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Clients will be transferred to the Kazungula border where their Botswana Guide will meet them.
From here they proceed straight to the River where they will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided.

The morning cruise ends at around 12.30hrs and clients are then taken to a hotels on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where they will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. After their game drive, they are taken back to the Kazungula Border where they will be met by their Zimbabwean Guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 18.30hrs.

Imbabala Four Countries Day Trip

This tour departs daily to the Imbabala Private concession on the banks of the Zambezi River. Clients will be transferred to Imbabala where their Guide will meet them. From here they proceed straight to the River where they will spend the morning game viewing along the Zambezi River up to the unique point where the Four Countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided.
The morning cruise ends at around 12.30hrs, lunch is served at the Imbabala Safari Camp, which is situated on the banks of the Zambezi.
After lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive on the Imbabala private concession, which borders the Chobe Forest Reserve. After their game drive, they are taken back to Imbabala for their return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 18.00hrs.

Although we do not operate these activities ourselves, we are happy to assist with reservations on your behalf. Making use of our centralised booking facility ensures that we are aware of your clients movements at all times and also gives clients one point-of-contact should they wish to confirm or change any of their reservations.

Morning Drives
These early morning drives are conducted in open safari vehicles and a qualified Game Guide accompanies clients. Clients may enjoy a variety of sightings from animals and birds to insects and trees before returning to their hotel at approximately 09.00hrs. Please note that breakfast is not included.

Afternoon Drives –departs at 15.00hrs
These drives are similar to the Morning Drive, and includes soft drinks only. Clients are returned to their hotel by 18.30hrs.

Night Drives
Departing daily, this drive offers five hours of unique game viewing where clients can enjoy sightings of rarely seen nocturnal animal life. A light meal is provided whilst sitting around an open fire prior to the journey back to their hotel.
